The DuPage County Sheriff's Office, the DuPage County Fraternal Order of Police and participating agencies held its annual Shop with a Cop event on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Meijer store in Bloomingdale. Area children were treated to breakfast and visits with Santa at the Glen Ellyn Park District's Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center before their shopping trip. Each child was paired with an officer and given $125 to spend on family members and themselves.
