Historical society hosts ice cream social Sunday in Wauconda

The Wauconda Township Historical Society will hold its fifth annual ice cream and pie social Sunday.

The event will run from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Andrew C. Cook House, 711 N. Main St., Wauconda. Admission is free.

Games, face painting and a raffle are among the planned activities. Ice cream and pie donated by Mariano's and Jewel-Osco.
