Pump up those tires for Saturday's Family Bike Ride

The Mount Prospect Special Events Commission is sponsoring the Family Bike Ride on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Melas Park, 1500 W. Central Road, Mount Prospect.

Registration will be available on-site, with registration/check-in starting at 9 a.m., with the official welcome and bike ride kickoff at 9:30 a.m. A free raffle drawing will be at 11 a.m.

The bike ride will offer three different paths to choose from: 1-, 5- or 10-mile rides.

The Family Bike Ride is sponsored by the Mount Prospect Special Events Commission, Mount Prospect Fire Department, Mount Prospect Police Department, Mount Prospect CERT Community Emergency Response Team and the Mount Prospect Park District.
