VNA Health Care opens second health center in Carol Stream

VNA Health Care is pleased to announce the opening of a second health center in Carol Stream.

VNA Health Center - Mona Kea is located at 397 S. Schmale Road in Carol Stream.

Primary care services at this location include pediatrics (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday) and family practice (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Friday) in addition to case management and care coordination. Call (630) 892-4355 for an appointment or walk in during hours listed.

Primary care is delivered by VNA's expert team of physicians and nurse practitioners. It includes diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, disease prevention and management, health promotion and patient education. Benefits assistance is also available.

In addition to exam rooms and a lab, this new location features a demonstration wellness kitchen where free wellness classes will be available to both VNA patients and community members.

VNA continues to welcome new patients at all locations by appointment and families and individuals may walk in for care without an appointment. The other Carol Stream health center is at 350 S. Schmale Road, Suite 150. The family practice hours are: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and uninsured are accepted.

Adults visit for general care and care when they are sick. Patients with diabetes and high blood pressure get the care they need to manage symptoms and stay healthy. All ages have access to dental and vision care, mental health services and low-cost prescription drugs through VNA.

VNA welcomes patients with Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance or no insurance at all. If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a discount based on income and family size.
