Remembrance for Rob Komosa set for Saturday in Arlington Heights

A final "reunion" for friends of Rob Komosa will gather to reminisce from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Peggy Kinnane's, 8 N. Vail Ave., Arlington Heights.

View a scrapbook that details all the community events that supported the former Rolling Meadows football player after he was paralyzed. Komosa, then 17, suffered a life-changing injury during football practice at Rolling Meadows High School on Oct. 6, 1999, that left him unable to walk, move his arms and legs, or breathe on his own. He died in March 2013.
