Media should apologize for deception

Yes, we must demand better - from our news media.

That includes you, Daily Herald. Most every article and opinion piece in the April 19 paper was meant to convey President Donald Trump and AG Barr in the worst possible way.

Despite nearly two years and $30 million of wasted time and money, this highly partisan, anti-Trump team determined that no member of the Trump campaign participated in collusion with Russia. Wasn't that the whole point of the investigation? Now, the new charge is obstruction even though there was no underlying crime. The sole objective of this witch hunt was to undermine and delegitimize this presidency.

Will ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and NBC apologize to their viewers for two years of deception? How about the NY Times, Washington Post and Daily Herald? Obviously not because Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is on full display by them all. In the words of Gary Abernathy, a Washington Post contributor, "Admit it: Fox News has been right all along."

The future story is how the DNC/HRC-funded and unverified Steele dossier sprang the FISA warrants, which led to illegal spying of the Trump campaign. So far, the left-wing media has had an amazing lack of curiosity about this. It will be interesting to observe how it is covered when the truth is revealed, and it will be ugly for Democrats at the highest levels.

There are real problems that need fixing such as the border crisis and health care reform. So far, victims of TDS have no desire to address them.
