Issue questions

What are the most important issues facing your community and how do you intend to address them?

Wood Dales flooding issue continues to be an important issue facing our community. I intend to work in collaboration with the Council as we tackle this issue Ward by Ward. Happy to report we are moving forward with Phase 1 in Ward 3 this year. Loss of funds from the State of Illinois is an issue, fortunately we continue with a strong economic development plan to produce additional revenue for the City.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

I am the best candidate for the job because I place the resident's best interests above all else. I'm very proud of my history as Alderman for the past four years, I will continue to be an independent & critical thinking transparent elected official where my only obligation to those I serve.

Describe your leadership style and explain how you think that will be effective in producing actions and decisions with your village board or city council.

How would you describe the condition of your community's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the town should take to assure providing the level of services people want?

I would describe the condition of our community's budget as excellent as evidenced by our nine (9) months of cash reserves, three (3) times the State of Illinois required reserve amount, in the bank.

What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

An additional transportation system within the community to assist residents and employees to move around town with greater ease.
