TriCity Health Partnership receives $10,000 award from 100 Women Who Care Fox Valley

TriCity Health Partnership has been awarded the "3rd Quarter Surprise" $10,000 donation from 100 Women Who Care-Fox Valley. The support will allow the clinic to continue to provide free quality health care to uninsured, low-income residents of Central Kane County.

TriCity Health Partnership has provided more than 27,000 on-site visits to 5,000 individuals since its inception in 2001. Additionally, hundreds of referrals to specialty local medical providers ensures comprehensive care for patients. Medical care is provided by volunteer medical professionals assisted by a small staff.

"With so many wonderful charitable organizations in the Fox Valley, to be honored with this award by such an amazing group of women is truly a blessing, and a surprise. You could have knocked me over with a feather when Vicki Deane presented the check at our gala event in October," said TriCity Health Partnership Executive Director Kim Lamansky. "This funding helps us achieve our mission of providing quality care to members of the community without the ability to pay for services. From free doctor visits, dental, medications, testing supplies, mammograms and more. This award will touch the lives of hundreds of Kane County residents," states Lamansky.

Local residents can learn more about the philanthropic organization, 100 Women Who Care Fox Valley by visiting the website www.100womenwhocarefoxvalley.org.

By meeting quarterly, these local women are able to have a large impact on the community.
