Lisle Park District celebrates Community Night

Live music, great food and other activities will be on tap when Lisle Park District celebrates Community Night from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Van Kampen Stage in Community Park, 1800 Short St.

The newly renovated stage will come alive with the '70s-inspired sounds of cover band Common Allies.

Visitors also will be able to check out numerous booths, including:

• Friaco's Lisle: Authentic taste of Mexico; friacosrestaurant.com/friacoslisle/.

• Wheatstack: Local comfort food and drinks; wheatstacklisle.com.

• Lisle Chamber of Commerce: Cultivating opportunities for Lisle businesses; lislechamber.com.

• Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau: Explore local attractions, history, sports, culture, and leisure activities; stayinlisle.com.

• Lisle Library District: Enrich, educate and empower the community; lislelibrary.org.
