Lake Park band braves rain to prepare for big competition
Members of the Lake Park Marching Band didn't let the miserable weather Saturday deter them from practicing their routines as they gear up for the big event: competition in the Bands of America Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium next weekend in Indianapolis.
The band members practiced on the footfall field at the high school, using plastic wrap to protect their instruments.
