Veterans flu shot clinics offered in N. Chicago

The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center is offering free flu vaccinations Saturday, Oct. 15, 8 a.m. to noon, at the North Chicago campus, 3001 Green Bay Road, and McHenry community-based outpatient clinic, 3715 Municipal Drive. The North Chicago campus walk-in flu shot clinic in Building 133CA and Building 133EF, is available to active duty military families, military retirees and veterans who are enrolled for care with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Veterans also may receive a free hepatitis C screening. The McHenry outpatient clinic walk-in flu shot clinic is available to enrolled veterans. Eligible veterans with proof of service (e.g. discharge form DD214) may enroll with the VA at both clinics.
