What will it take for GOP to dump Trump?
There are no longer words strong enough to express my disgust for Donald Trump. What bothers me even more is that Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and/or Rob Portman, etc. did not strongly and immediately repudiate Trump's words and call on him to apologize or even withdraw from the race.
They seem to think that as long as they express their support for the Khans and repeat their opposition to a ban on Muslims that is enough. Not in my mind it isn't. What will it take for them to withdraw their endorsement? Trump once said that he could shoot someone in the middle of the street and people would continue to support him. I'm beginning to think that Ryan and McConnell would also.
