Suburban business community takes shots on Windy City Bulls new court

The Windy City Bulls are still months away from taking to the hardwood for their inaugural season at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, but that doesn't mean that the team's new court isn't seeing some preseason action this summer.

A few days after the court's unveiling for season ticket holders and VIPs on Saturday, it was the Northwest suburban business community's turn to take to the floor, as the Schaumburg Business Association hosted a "Before Hours" event for its members at the arena.

Along with a chance to meet with representatives of the Windy City Bulls - the Chicago Bulls' new NBA Developmental League affiliate - SBA members had the opportunity to shoot hoops on the new $63,200 basketball court featuring the team logo.

The Windy City Bulls will begin a 50-game schedule in November. Officials say tickets will cost about $20 per game, on average, and season tickets can be purchased for less than $400.
