"I don't think we had any idea how fun it was going to be to have these open houses," said Waldron, a native of Campton Hills. "Some people come every year and other people are new to it. I think it is unique and people enjoy it as much as we enjoy having them." Today the farm is home to 15 alpacas, though Waldron said the most she's owned at any one time is 45.
