DUI offenders getting off lightly is offensive

What I find most disturbing in the article about Trooper Cokins is that Leslie W. Thurow, the habitual drunk who nearly killed this man and let's not forget the family of seven she hit causing their car to rollover when she left the Trooper to die on the side of the road just two days after a judge shook his/her finger at her and said don't do this again at her previous DUI court appearance.

I am so tired of seeing such offenders dealt with so lightly. It appears that Leslie W. Thurow, 21 months after this horrific crash is still not incarcerated and I am willing to bet still drinking and driving … because she can.

Am I the only person scratching my head about this?
