It's up to airlines to solve waiting problem
The airlines are in a most enviable position from a business point of view.
Which business would not want to have customers waiting for hours in line to utilize their product?
The airlines could care less about long lines and customer satisfaction as long as people keep buying tickets. Until consumers boycott the airline industry, the situation is only going to get worse.
The airlines continually squeeze their customers by charging more for everything as well as squeezing them into smaller seats and less legroom on planes. I am actually surprised that they haven't implemented standing room only for shorter flights similar to what happens on buses and subways.
Until the general public says enough is enough and people start driving their cars or taking trains and buses, nothing is going to change.
The TSA is not the problem. The airlines must step up and solve the problem of long lines and excessive wait times.
