Louie Anderson, David Sedaris part of Raue Center's upcoming season

The Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake has announced its 2016-17 season, which includes the subscription shows from the in-house Williams Street Repertory theater company.

Visiting performers include:

• Rock musician Jim Peterik will be part of the fifth annual Piano Conference on Saturday, June 25.

• Comedian Louie Anderson on Friday, July 29.

• Christian musician Michael W. Smith on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

• Author and raconteur David Sedaris on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

• The Buckinghams on Saturday, Nov. 12.

• The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra on Friday, Dec. 9.

• Steve Cochran's New Year's Eve Comedy Show is Saturday, Dec. 31.

• The Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team on Thursday, Feb. 23.

Williams Street Repertory's season features:

• Yasmina Reza's 1990s comedy “Art” plays in repertory with the 2008 Broadway musical about writing a musical called “[title of show]” as part of the Williams Street TheatreFest between Friday, July 8, through Saturday, Aug. 6.

• Steve Martin's 1990s off-Broadway comedy “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” plays Friday, Sept. 16, through Sunday, Oct. 23.

• The comedy “A Christmas Survival Guide” plays Saturday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 4.

• The 2013 Broadway musical comedy “First Date” plays Wednesday, Jan. 20, through Sunday, Feb. 12.

• George Brant's world premiere play “Any Other Name” plays Friday, March 17, to Sunday, April 2.

• Frank Loesser's classic 1950 Broadway musical “Guys and Dolls” plays Friday, April 21, through Sunday, May 14.

There's also a special one-night only performance of Jeff Sweet's improv history comedy “You Only Shoot the Ones You Love” on Sunday, July 10.
