Glendale Heights man and 2 great-grandchildren reported home safe

A 78-year-old Glendale Heights man and his two great grandchildren have returned home, police said.

Jerry Harrison, who is said to have dementia, and his two great-grandchildren were reported missing Tuesday, according to a news release from Glendale Heights police.

Police responded to a call from the area of Blue Ridge Drive and President Street for a missing elderly endangered person at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

He was last seen Monday at the Roselle Metra station around 9:30 p.m.

A news release Wednesday confirmed that Harrison and his great grandchildren returned home late Tuesday and are safe.
