GOP fought Social Security, Medicare, too

I guess Thomas Manion, in his March 19 rant against Obamacare, refuses to admit 20 million more people have insurance, they can't be indiscriminately thrown off their plan, they can't be refused coverage for pre-existing conditions.

Further, studies have shown costs have increased at a declining rate, except for pharmaceuticals, which Republicans refuse to address.

Republicans have tried to repeal Obamacare over 60 times without an alternative. They obstruct everything that might help middle class Americans, raising the minimum wage, investing in infrastructure, preventing corporations from avoiding taxes via overseas inversions, revising our broken immigration system - just start doing their jobs would be good after seven years.

Just remember, Republicans were initially against Social Security and Medicare, too.
