Schaumburg offers community scholarships

Schaumburg Village President Al Larson has announced the availability of the 23rd annual Community Scholarship in cooperation with Business and Career Services, Inc.

The village has been provided funding to award scholarships to qualified residents to pursue educational training, upgrading or retraining.

The scholarship can be applied toward tuition, books and any other commensurate educational expenses. A President's Committee will select all winners of the program.

Candidates must submit a completed application and two references by 3 p.m. Friday, April 8 to: Office of the President, 101 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg IL 60193.
