What if men were having babies?

Something is wrong with men being in control of women's reproductive health care. Republican men in Congress are spending billions and willing to shut down the government to defund and destroy Planned Parenthood where many women obtain family planning, contraceptives and birth control.

Only three percent of their services include abortions; and according to the Hyde Amendment no federal money can be used. We have the highest rate of children living in poverty than any other of the wealthiest countries in the world and thousands living in foster care. While Republicans want all these children born, they are defunding programs that help them.

Now, if men had the babies it would be an altogether different story: there would be abortion clinics on every corner, middle of the block and in the back room of every sports bar. Are you kidding; tell a man he has to have a baby? I don't think so. And of course, giving up a fetus to save the life of another human would become a badge of honor. After all even the Bible says life begins at first breath - Genesis 2:7 - life begins when you begin to breathe and ends when you stop breathing.

Billions of our tax dollars go to supporting churches including tax money of these so-called sinners. My question is why are churches accepting money from sinners when they don't want their tax money going to support places like Planned Parenthood. Isn't this a little hypocritical?
