Stop wasting money on Benghazi probe

I watched all 11 hours of the Benghazi Hearing Oct. 22 as I wanted to learn why it's taken 17 months with eight different house committee hearings and $4.7 million of our tax dollars on this issue?

Plus, I learned that other agencies have spent over $16 million investigating Benghazi so now over $20 million of our tax dollars has been spent on Benghazi-enough is enough!

Rep. Trey Gowdy, Chairman of the House Committee investigating Benghazi was interviewed after the hearing and was asked if new information was learned from the 11-hour hearing? He said, "their findings pretty much confirmed what they learned from previous hearings."

Rep. Tammy Duckworth was the only committee member who had substantive ideas how to improve security at our embassies which should be the main objective of these hearings. I was proud that Tammy Duckworth is from Illinois and represents us from our district in DuPage County.

I strongly recommend that we contact Rep. Peter Roskam and Rep. Tammy Duckworth and suggest they influence the speaker of the House to stop wasting our tax payer money and terminate the Benghazi Committee and to please spend their time on more important programs that can improve our quality of life.
