Lancer Joust draws top marching bands from suburbs, Wisconsin

Nineteen high school marching bands from Illinois and Wisconsin performed Saturday during the all-day Lancer Joust at Lake Park High School in Roselle.

The annual music fest was scheduled to include performances by bands from Victor J. Andrew; Downers Grove South; Greendale, Wisconsin, H.D. Jacobs; Herscher; John Hersey; Lakes Community; Lemont; Lincoln-Way North; Lincoln-Way West; Lockport; Naperville Central; Naperville North; Plainfield Central; Plainfield North; Prospect; Wheaton North; Wheaton Warrenville South; and Wheeling.

The Lake Park Lancer Marching Band also was scheduled to give an exhibition performance at 5:15 p.m.
