Culver's, Pet Supplies Plus host 4th 'Pets-a-Palooza' fundraiser, adoption event June 27
Culver's of Bolingbrook and neighbor Pet Supplies Plus will co-host the 4th annual 'Pets-a-Palooza' pet adoption fundraising festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at 250 N. Bolingbrook Dr.
Organizers will raise money for local rescue agencies that rely solely on donations to feed, shelter and place hundreds of animals each year in their combined operations. Both Culver's and Pets Supply Plus will donate 10 percent of that day's sales to these local agencies.
The festivities are free and open to the public and will feature Bolingbrook Police K-9 unit demonstrations, a dog obstacle course, arcade games, build-a-pet station and raffles. Face painters and balloon artists will entertain the children while vendors provide samples of pet food, products and treats. In addition, 95.9/The River will broadcast live from the event.
"Pets help fulfill our lives by providing us with companionship and unconditional love," says Culver's owner Jim DiVerde. "Given that one of every four American households owns a pet, our goal is to help support local humane and rescue agencies so they can continue their vital missions."
Participating sponsors include Blue Buffalo, Natural Balance, The Honest Kitchen, Iams, Eukanuba, Fromm, the Village of Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook Police Department and Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce.
