Twilights on the Terrace begins June 12

Peaceful Parlour, 212 S. Third St. in Geneva, announced its fifth season of "Twilights on the Terrace," a live outdoor music series with Patchouli.

Julie Patchouli, famous for that smiling voice, and master guitarist Bruce Hecksel play a blend of folk, pop, flamenco and jazz with world beat rhythms. Fifteen years of nonstop touring has honed this classically trained duo into legendary performers and are generally known as the hardest working folk duo in America.

Music at Peaceful Parlour is offered as part of the Outdoor Music Geneva entertainment program designed to enhance the overall downtown Geneva experience. Gourmet food will be available for purchase and Peaceful Parlour will be sampling their house-blended organic, herbal teas. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for the event. It's Ravinia in the Fox Valley!

Owner Shari Ralish has had her doors open since 2010, when she first introduced eco-conscious, earth friendly and natural products to consumers in the Fox Valley community. Six years later, her doors are still open despite a tough economy, picky consumers and a competitive shopping environment. To help Peaceful Parlour continue to thrive, store owner Ralish has fine tuned her total product assortment into the categories of home, garden, children, spiritual, art, jewelry and food. Her assortment blends seamlessly together, allowing customers to shop with ease for personal, home and total lifestyle essentials with an interest in organic, natural, USA made and fair trade products.

Complimenting the diverse assortment of items sold at Peaceful Parlour, Ralish has a number of in-store activities and events. Her website showcases the events held at the shop each month.
