Learn how to "Live Like a Goddess: Glorious at Any Age!" from Dr. Christiane Northrup, New York Times best-selling author and leading authority on women's health and fitness.

The program featuring Northrup's presentation runs 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center, 70 Yorktown Center, Lombard. The program is hosted by Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital.

Northrup's books, "Women's Health," "Women's Wisdom" and "The Wisdom of Menopause," have led to PBS specials and helped women better understand how their bodies work.

At this event, she will share her latest findings in women's health -- explaining the core tenets of "ageless living" and sharing her blueprint for ensuring the best years of life are ahead of you.

Women will discover that age doesn't have to determine your happiness -- or your health.

"How you grow older is your decision," Northrup says. "Don't battle aging when you can dance with life."

News anchor Sylvia Perez of ABC 7 will emcee the program, which will begin with a cocktail hour and book-signing with Northrup, sponsored by Anderson's Bookshops.

Northrup's newest book, "Goddesses Never Age: The Secret Prescription for Radiance, Vitality, and Well-being," will be available for sale if attendees want to continue the lessons shared by the physician.

The evening also incudes dinner and a performance from the cast of "Menopause: The Musical," which will bring laughter to the evening and set the stage for Northrup's presentation.

Northrup was named one of "100 Most Trusted People in America" by Reader's Digest in 2013. A visionary pioneer in women's health, Northrup will tell participants how to release ageist programming and allow their lives to be infused with that which is always youthful within -- their inner divine goddess self.

Northrup then will join a panel of Adventist women's care professionals that includes Dr. Karen Botsoe, internist; Dr. Susan Murrey, obstetrician/gynecologist; and Dr. Christina Steil, dermatologist, for a frank and open discussion on women's health and aging. The evening will end with the audience having time to ask questions of Northrup and other physician panelists.

The program cost is $65. Participants must register by Friday, April 17. To register, call (630) 856-7525 or visit EventsAtAdventist.com.
