Rodeo volunteers sought:
Wauconda Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help with the 52nd IPRA Championship Rodeo, scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 11, and noon to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 12, at Route 12 and Case Road, Wauconda. Help is needed at the front gate and parking gate until intermission, and with raffle tickets, beer garden, Chamber booth, ID/information booth, the mechanical bull ride, kid's moonwalk and kid's pony rides, officials said in a news release. Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to contact Anna Kootstra at Akootstra@wauconda-il.gov.
