Quilt to be raffled off at spaghetti supper March 7

Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake invites the community to a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 7. Enjoy an evening of food and fellowship!

A homemade quilt, made and donated by a church member, will be raffled off during the event.

Join the church every Wednesday in Lent, through April 1, for "Lent Soup and Sacrament Services" at noon and 6 p.m. Homemade soups are served along with bread from Heidi's Bakery in Geneva. Once the majority of people are served, the Rev. Ernie Rex delivers a message that welcomes and engages input from everyone in the smaller and more intimate space of the fellowship hall.

On Sundays, the 9 a.m. service is a liturgical worship with traditional hymns and organ music. Families begin worship together and children leave for their Sunday school classes after a children's sermon with the pastor. It is followed at 10:30 a.m. by a contemporary worship with contemporary Christian music and guitar music.

Grace Lutheran Church is at 5N600 Hanson Road, just north of Route 64 and east of Route 47 in St. Charles. All of the services are open to the community.
