Candidate will focus on bringing jobs

The best debt and deficit reduction program is getting people back to work.

The nation's highways, bridges, schools, water systems and electricity grid are all desperately in need of upgrade and repair. As our new U.S. House of Representative, Dennis Anderson will work to see that these projects are undertaken now, thus creating good paying jobs and reducing the burden on future generations of the cost of decades of neglect.

He will work for greater investment in research and development in energy, transportation, medicine and agriculture, to ensure we remain the world leader in innovation and industry.

He will foster public-private partnerships to create jobs. Rather than continuing to subsidize enormously profitable industries, let's shift resources to increase small business access to credit and grants and support the development of new technologies and businesses. Companies that move offshore jobs or profits should be penalized, not rewarded with tax advantages.
