Tax relief candidate gets the vote

This is in reply to Bill Sarto of Carpentersville's letter, "Rainer property tax freeze a bad idea."

Mr. Sarto. Seriously you are blaming everything on the Republican party for the increase in our property taxes. Why does everyone have to start pointing fingers. We need property relief. Yes, the biggest part of our tax bill goes to schools. Somewhere we need to get relief from our tax bill being increased every year.

So, Quinn in your opinion is doing everything he can to help out the communities in Illinois, by chasing out businesses and leaving the tax burden to the homeowners.

He has not been helping the business stay in Illinois. I have been reading in the paper and watching the news. Illinois is losing businesses as they are being taxed beyond belief, so yes they are relocating to neighboring states where they have Republican governors? Wisconsin and Indiana, which have Republican governors, are good examples.

So in your opinion, Rauner cannot help Illinois because of your misinformed information from the Quinn campaign?

Let's stop pointing fingers. What change? I, for one, don't care if it's a Republican or Democrat. Someone who can help us get property tax relief will get my vote.
