The British example on health care

The British health care system, which is the most socialized and least privatized and which has been much maligned by American conservatives, has been delivering the world's best health care as reported recently by the American Medical Association, whereas our health care system ranks last (on both quality and access) among the top 11 industrialized nations.

Even more astounding is that the British system provides health care at less than half our per capita cost. Evidently health care is one of those things that government can do more efficiently and effectively than private companies. No for-profit health care system anywhere in the world has worked well, including ours.
