Stick to your guns, forest preserve
President Dewey Perotti and his DuPage Forest Preserve Board of Commissioners have done a great job over the years denying requests for forest preserve land from government bodies, developers, and special interest groups.
Surprisingly, a forest preserve commissioner recently initiated talks with College of Dupage, under continuous construction over the past three decades, to move the COD Model Farm to Danada Farm. The vast majority of DuPage residents are counting on the DuPage County Forest Preserve to resist overtures like this in the name of "education" and stick to preserving our forests and open space.
