Bears preseason slate: Eagles, Jags, Seahawks, Browns

The Chicago Bears open the NFL preseason with back-to-back home games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars followed by road games against the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and the Cleveland Browns.

Most of the exact dates for preseason games won't be announced until later in the month, but the Bears' second game against the Jaguars will be on Thursday, Aug. 14. The night contest will be a nationally televised by ESPN.

The preseason opener at Soldier Field will take place between Aug. 7-10. Game Three at Seattle will be played sometime from Aug. 21-24, and the preseason finale at Cleveland will be Aug. 28 or 29.

It will be the 11th straight season the Bears and Browns have met in the final preseason game.

The Bears were 2-2 in the preseason last year in coach Marc Trestman's first season.
