Solstice Hop & Vine Fest features the best of Illinois wines, beer and food

Illinois' finest wines, brews and food will be featured at the Solstice Hop and Vine Festival, Presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank.

What better way to celebrate the first day of summer!

The alfresco event provides attendees the perfect ambience in which to sip, snack, stroll and socialize among the fireflies and wildflowers. All proceeds benefit the scholarship program and other charitable initiatives of the Schaumburg Park Foundation.

"This is the fourth year for the event, and the first for new presenting sponsor Schaumburg Bank & Trust," said Foundation Executive Vice President Pat Casler. "The Foundation is pleased with the partnership, and excited about the affiliation with this outstanding community business."

Event attendees will enjoy wines and beers provided by Lynfred Winery (host winery), Acquaviva Winery, Church Street Brewing Company, Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, Fox Valley Winery, Hailey's Winery, The Lucky Monk, Prairie State Winery, The Ram Restaurant and Brewery, Village Vintner Winery, Brewery and Restaurant. Accompanying food items will be provided by California Pizza Kitchen, Chandler's Chophouse, The Melting Pot, Moretti's, Riccardo's, the Sweet Escape and Whole Foods Market.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the folk/americana/contemporary stylings of musician Ken Slauf and his band; and the Marti Bonne/Geoff DeMuth Quartet returns with its mellow jazz.
