Tip leads to drug arrest in Fox Lake
A Waukegan man was arrested in Fox Lake and charged with selling large amounts of heroin and cocaine, police announced on Thursday.
Thomas M. Brosier, 55 of the 200 block of West Street in Waukegan, was arrested Wednesday at the Patio Motel in Fox Lake after the police department received a tip on its drug and gang information hotline about the drug sales, according to a news release.
Police confronted Brosier, who consented to a search of the room, where a rock of crack cocaine was discovered along with several pieces of drug paraphernalia, police said. Several bags of powder and crack cocaine were also found on Brosier at the time.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Brosier was ordered held on $25,000 bond in court Thursday, police said.
