Meatless Thanksgiving would be cruelty free

Thanksgiving is a monumental day to express our thanks. It’s distastefully referred to as “Turkey Day,” and millions of hapless turkeys are slaughtered to commemorate this holiday feast. A cruelty-free Thanksgiving sans flesh-foods is far more preferable. Americans can gorge on potatoes, breads, nuts, squash, cranberries, tofu and many other fortifying foods. We should spare the birds and opt to consume savory bean curd.
