Candidates Grogan, Tracy to speak to Schaumburg GOP Saturday

Republican Illinois Treasurer candidate Bob Grogan and Lt. Governor hopeful Jil Tracy are the guest speakers Saturday at the Schaumburg Township Republican Organization’s monthly breakfast meeting.

The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. at Chandler’s Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.

Besides Grogan and Tracy, who is running mate to gubernatorial candidate Kirk Dillard, 8th District congressional candidates Manju Goel and Larry Kaifesh will be speaking briefly.

To help defray the cost of the buffet breakfast, the organization asks for a $10 contribution from members and $15 contribution from nonmembers. Annual memberships may be purchased or renewed online at www.STGOP.org or at the event.

STRO Charitable Giving Coordinator Gary Seyring will be collecting nonperishable food items for the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry to distribute for township residents in need at Thanksgiving.
