Schaumburg holds police, fire open house

The Schaumburg police and fire departments will host a combined Public Safety Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in recognition of National Crime Prevention Month and National Fire Prevention Week.

The open houses take place at Fire Station 51, 950 W. Schaumburg Road, and the Martin J. Conroy Police Center, 1000 W. Schaumburg Road, with the parking lot located between the two buildings.

There is no cost and residents of all ages are invited to meet their firefighters and police officers, have some fun and obtain valuable safety information.
