Wheaton police seek armed robber

Wheaton police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint Saturday night.

At 10:33 p.m. Saturday an unidentified man entered the Mobil Gas Station at 1000 E. Roosevelt Road in Wheaton and pointed a black semiautomatic handgun at two employees, according to police.

The man reportedly said “Give me all your money” and fled on foot after employees emptied the cash register. No one was injured during the robbery, according to a news release from police.

The offender was described as a black male between 25 and 30 years of age. He reportedly weighs between 140 and 150 pounds, stands between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black work-style gloves and a black ski mask covering his face and head. He was carrying a black gym bag.
