Reward offered in West Chicago sewer grate thefts

DuPage County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the theft of several storm sewer grates in West Chicago.

Police said the grates recently were taken from both the north and south sides of town, with the largest concentration being in the Westgrove subdivision.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and charges being filed against the person or people responsible, authorities said.
