The Art Center's Festival of Fine Craft
The Art Center's (TAC) Festival of Fine Craft returns to downtown Highland Park on Saturday, June 22
and Sunday, June 23! Situated on the beautiful tree-lined streets surrounding TAC, the festival
will showcase original works from 120 juried artists. Exceptional examples of fine craft, including
ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, wood and more will be featured at the festival, which is produced by
Amdur Productions in cooperation with TAC.
The Art Center's Festival of Fine Craft will offer activities for children and families, as well as live
entertainment and tasty festival treats throughout the weekend. Neighboring restaurants and retailers
will be offering perks and promotions for festival-goers all weekend long. Art enthusiasts will get a
behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making these original works of art with live art demos taking
place at the festival.
Festival-goers will have an opportunity to support TAC by participating in “Bid or Buy.” This unique
silent auction will feature a distinct piece of craft from each exhibiting artist to support
TAC, a not-for-profit visual arts organization. All proceeds from “Bid or Buy” will benefit TAC and
support its mission of ensuring access to the arts for individuals of all ages and cultural interests.
The Art Center's (TAC) Festival of Fine Craft takes place at Sheridan and Park Avenue on Saturday,
June 22 and Sunday, June 23 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Parking is FREE, $5 donations at the
gate to support TAC are accepted and encouraged!
