AEAR HOSTS SPECIAL PET ADOPTION EVENT

Pet Meet and Greet Recognizes Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month

Animal Education Animal Rescue (AEAR) is hosting a Pet Adoption Meet and Greet on April 20th at Petranek's Pharmacy, Libertyville,Il. The event, which is scheduled from 1:30 until 3:30pm, is part of an effort to raise awareness of animal abuse and neglect in Lake County.

“April is Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month,” explains Sandy Kamen Wisniewski, founder of AEAR. ”Our event supports April's 'Go Orange for Animal Campaigns'. We will have variety of adoptable dogs, cats and rabbits for folks to meet, view and pet.”

Petranek's Pharmacy is located at 426 N Milwaukee Avenue. A small animal anti-cruelty exhibit will be on display. In addition, each person who attends the event will receive an orange ribbon pin. Stop animal cruelty t-shirts will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.

“We encourage everyone to join us in saying that we will not tolerate the abuse or neglect of animals, “added Wisnieski .“Together we can improve the lives of animals in every corner of our county and our country.”
