Only one vote if you love St. Charles

I do not endorse Ray Rogina for mayor of St. Charles because he was my business law teacher, although he inspired me to want to become a lawyer — to serve the public; to teach and to volunteer. I do not endorse Ray Rogina because we worked together for 20 or so years teaching mock trial at St. Charles High School where we received many years of recognition from the Illinois State Bar Association and won a state championship; where we coached many students who then became lawyers themselves.

I do not endorse Ray Rogina because of his tenure as an alderman for the city of St. Charles, where his constituents cannot say enough about his unrelenting commitment to them and his willingness to listen to their concerns. I do not endorse Ray Rogina because he is my friend.

I instead endorse Ray Rogina because I am convinced, after reviewing the other candidates for this office, attending forums, doing candidate research, and knowing him as I do for the past 35 years or so, that he will do what is right — and what is best — for the people of St. Charles every day, and for the right reasons. He will listen to their concerns. He will build consensus on what is right. He will work for what is better. He will never dismiss concerns. He will work tirelessly for a better St. Charles.

If you love St. Charles, there is really only one choice for mayor.

Please vote for Ray on April 9.
