Palatine wins Foerch Invitational

Palatine took top honors on varsity and had enough strength at the sophomore and freshman levels to take top honors in the Foerch Invitational it hosted Saturday.

With all three levels counting toward the final team placement, Palatine finished at 275.15, with Deerfield (268.9) and Naperville North (267.95) rounding out the top three.

At the varsity level, Palatine finished at 124.15, ahead of York (118.65) and Deerfield (113.55).

The Pirates earned a 1-2 finish on vault from Lucas Price (8.0) and Pratik Patel (7.5).

Price also had the top effort on still rings (7.0), second on parallel bars (7.5) and placed second in the all-around (43.6).

At the sophomore level, Naperville North won and Palatine took third.

At the freshman level, Deerfield won and Palatine was second.
