Decomposed bodies of 2 women found in home
Authorities say they’ve found the badly decomposed bodies of two women in a home, but their deaths have been ruled accidental.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the bodies were found Thursday night in a home in an unincorporated area near Glenview. The Cook County medical examiner identified the women as 87-year-old Mary Hochner and her adult daughter, 67-year-old Elizabeth Schultz.
The medical examiner ruled Hochner’s death accidental and said it was due to coronary atherosclerosis. Schultz’s death was ruled accidental, due to subdural hematoma, a fall, chronic alcoholism and coronary atherosclerosis.
Glenview is about 17 miles north of downtown Chicago.
