Time for action, not more debate

Eugene Robinson's column on global warming, "Need for action on warming more evident than ever," is right on target. I urge Daily Herald readers to go to the Bill Moyers & Company website and watch the program that was presented on Jan. 4 in the Chicago area on the WTTW Prime channel.

Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication, made the case for ending the silence on climate change. He said that the vast majority of scientists believe that climate change is happening and that it is being caused by human activity. Now is the time for action, not more debate.
