Lee DeWyze playing Lincolnshire, tickets on sale Jan. 25

Tickets go on sale Jan. 25 for 'American Idol' winner Lee DeWyze's latest suburban performance, an all ages show at 8 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Viper Alley, 275 Parkway Drive in Lincolnshire.

The Mount Prospect native won Season 9 of the Fox singing competition and released his debut album “Live it Up” in November 2010.

DeWyze, who married over the summer, now lives in Los Angeles and is working on a new album he hopes will be released this year, he told the Daily Herald in November.

He announced via Twitter Tuesday that he has signed with Vanguard Records, an independent label who boasts artists like the Indigo Girls and Chris Isaak.

The new album has influences from Mumford and Sons and Ben Harper, as well as some country flavor because some of it was recorded in Nashville.

DeWyze has sung at Viper Alley several times in the past few years, including at the club's opening and anniversary celebrations.

Tickets are $20, $30 or $40, with preshow meet and greet tickets available for $100. They are available at http://www.viper-alley.com/
