What will street look like without shade?

The village has been very busy going through our entire subdivision spray-painting orange dots on — at last count — 40 very mature trees, that MIGHT be infested with EAB.

Apparently, they have nothing better to do with our taxpayers money. I just want to advise you that you can still have your tree treated to prevent our beautiful neighborhood being ravaged by the village and their endeavors to eradicate EAB.

PLEASE call the Village of Mount Prospect and tell them that you, the homeowner, will treat your tree. It is not very expensive, about $50 per year.

Come on, give our beautiful trees a chance. Please join me in this effort to save our beautiful canopy! Look out your windows and picture how it will look without the trees and their canopy of leaves. Where did the shade go?

Think about it. You CAN do something now to keep our tree canopy.
