Magenium Solutions acquires social media marketing firm

Wheaton-based IT services firm Magenium Solutions said it has acquired Capable Networks LLC, a social media marketing consultancy in Glen Ellyn. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

The acquisition will strengthen Magenium’s commitment to building a depth of services based on innovative technology solutions, the company said in a statement.

“We are excited to add the Capable Networks’ team to our staff. Their experience with emerging media will be a great benefit for our clients. Businesses know they need to engage in social networking to be competitive. They need a partner who can help them define a social road map and implement a social media marketing plan from strategy through execution,” said Colleen LaMantia, managing partner of Magenium Solutions. “By bringing Capable Networks into our service portfolio, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients establish their social media footprint and deliver the infrastructure backbone to support those initiatives.

Capable Networks has a list of clients who will benefit from the increased service offerings available to them as a result of this transaction, the company said. .
