West Chicago making Dumpsters available

West Chicago is making regional Dumpsters available for residents to place perishable food that has spoiled as a result of the recent electrical power outage.

Dumpsters have been placed at 910 E. Main St. in the Faith Community Church parking lot; in the parking lot on Garden Street across from St. Mary’s Church; on Dayton Avenue, east of Oak Street; and on the walking path just west of 601 E. National St.

The containers at the churches will be picked up by the waste hauler at the end of the day Friday.
